Comfort and Joy
The Playhouse Whitstable 10th to 12th May 2007

It’s Christmas.  A time for families to enjoy the delights of the season.  Margaret, Martin and their daughter Helen prepare to celebrate the holiday, with the aid of their roguish uncle Goff.

What can go wrong?  Apart from inappropriate presents, culinary disasters, hangovers, loose tongues and a flatulent dog?
When they are joined by Goff’s daughter and son in law, back home from Australia, old arguments and resentments surface.     The tree explodes, the plumbing breaks down……and
they have some very unexpected guests.

Oh!………and then there’s the aliens….
